Itinerary
Day 1: KUALA LUMPUR - TASHKENT
Arrival at Tashkent Airport, welcome by local guide and drive to the hotel for check-in.
Day 2: TASHKENT - SAMARKAND
Buffet breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, start Tashkent city tour with visit to Khasti Imam Complex, which consists of Barakkhan Madrasah and Namozgoh mosque. Shop at Chorsu bazaar, then lunch at Plov Centre. Excursion at Minor mosque and Rakat mosque. Explore the Tashkent subway and in late afternoon, take a train to Samarkand. Upon arrival, check-in hotel then dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3: SAMARKAND
After breakfast, visit Gur Emir Mausoleum - one of the most significant architectural ensembles of medieval East, the Gur Emir Mausoleum was built in the southwestern part of Samarkand at the beginning of the XV bc. Next, visit spectacular Registan Square and have lunch at restaurant. Visit Ziyaraat Imam al Bukhary, shopping and have dinner. Optional tour: Registan 3D show at night. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 4: SAMARKAND - ISKANDARKUL
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Trip to Iskandarkul, Tajikstan, through Penjikent border. Welcome by Tajik guide and explore Tajik mountainsides and Iskandarkul lake, a tranquil gem nestled in the Fann Mountains. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake, take in stunning mountain views and explore nearby waterfall or visit a local family to experience Tajik hospitality. Dinner then overnight near Iskandarkul.
Day 5: ISKANDARKUL - KHUJAND
Have breakfast then journey to Khujand through Shahriston tunnel and beautiful Zarafshon valley (4h). You will enjoy majestic views of Fann mountain ranges (2195m) that reflect the surrounding mountains. Upon arrival, city tour in Khujand and shopping at colorful central bazaar. Participate in masterclass of Plov, organized by Nozim chef. Then lunch and visit House museum of Anora, the house of antiques collector and restorer of antiquities, artifacts and artisan. Excursion at Lenin statue, Arbob Palace and statue of Ismaili Somoni, the founder of Tajik nation. Dinner at restaurant and overnight in Khujand.
Day 6: KHUJAND - KOKAND - MARGILAN
After breakfast, short drive to cross the border Konibodom for visit to Kokand town, Uzbekistan. Upon arrival, you will visit the Khudajar Khan Palace of Kokand. This is among the last great buildings of Islamic architecture. If available, visit grape gardens. Next, visit Silk Factory then check-in the hotel. Dinner at restaurant and overnight in Margilan.
Day 7: MARGILAN - ASAKA - OSH
Breakfast at hotel then shopping at Oriental Bazaar. Short drive to Asaka town to visit Chontak Chaykhana (teahouse) for cooking masterclass and lunch. Transfer to Osh, Kyrgyzstan, through Dustilk border. Go through border control and meet with Kyrgyz driver, then short transfer to hotel. Dinner at restaurant and overnight in Osh.
Day 8: OSH - BISHKEK
Breakfast at hotel. Afterwards, start journey to Kara-koi resort, comprising of magical landscapes like in Switzerland. Enjoy lunch at traditional yurts, then return to the city airport for flight to Bishkek (40m). Arrive in Bishkek and check-in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Bishkek.
Day 9: BISHKEK
Breakfast then drive to Ala-Archa National Park - an alpine park in the Tian Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan that dominates the southern skyline. Lunch at restaurant, and sightseeing tour will follow, featuring Philharmonic, the statue of Kyrgyz National Hero, Manas, and visit Ala-Too square and shopping at TSUM. Dinner at Chinese restaurant and overnight in Bishkek
Day 10: BISHKEK - ALMATY
Morning transfer to Almaty through Kordai border (4h30m). Upon arrival, Almaty layover tour starts with a visit to Panfilov Park - named after the 28 heroes who died for freedom and independence of the country. Visit Zenkov Cathedral - the oldest building in the city, that is entirely wooden (built without any metal nails) and a memorial complex devoted to World War Two, with an eternal flame. Shopping at Green Bazaar, dinner and overnight in Almaty.
Day 11: ALMATY - TASHKENT - KUALA LUMPUR
Breakfast at hotel, then take a flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival lunch at Plov Center ad shopping in Chorsu bazaar and Alay bazaar. Free walking time at Tashkent city and Magic city parks. Dinner at restaurant then drive to airport for flight.
Day 12: KUALA LUMPUR ARRIVAL
Arrival in Kuala Lumpur, full of sweet memories of 4 TAN with Via Vacation and Travel Sdn Bhd.
